Keep it affordable: run the ink only on the head table and bar. Brass candleholders rent cheaply; buy a few and mix heights rather than buying a full set.

Keep it affordable: a single printed star-chart backdrop does more than scattered celestial props. Use dried thistle — it survives a long setup window.

Keep it affordable: let the oxblood live in textiles and ribbons; dark florals are seasonal and expensive. Substitute deep foliage plus a few statement blooms.
Three rules for this aesthetic
- One dark anchor, one light surface. All-dark tablescapes photograph as a black rectangle.
- Metal is an accent, not a theme. Pick brass or silver, never both.
- Celestial means light, not props. Candlelight, a dark ceiling and one printed star map outperform a table full of moons.
Print all four swatches on the actual paper stock and photograph them under your venue's lighting. Venue LEDs shift burgundy toward brown and navy toward black.
